As many of you know, I taught English conversation in Japan for 13 years (Nagahama, Yuzawa & Shizuoka) in high schools, university, companies and adult education. In the UK I also ran mixed cultural English conversation classes for adults (Luton, Chepstow & Newport).

A return of the varied programme of "Japanese Culture Classes & Workshops" is being planned for 2025. These classes take an informal and entertaining look at traditional and contemporary aspects of Japanese culture.

Looking back at 2024
Lino Cut & Print • with Newport Rising (Dec 2024)
We would like to thank everyone who attended our events in 2024.
We had a busy time with various Art & Printmaking workshops, Origami and Japanese Culture classes at Gallery 57 and
Chartist Icon Stencil & Lino Print workshops at Newport Rising
and The Place.
Fun Japanese Calligraphy at Newport USW Startup Stiwdio (Oct 2024)
A Japanese calligraphy session was held for the Startup Stiwdio launch event at the USW campus in Newport, and we also joined a number of local art & craft markets with the sale of Sakura notebooks and original art.
Thank you again for all your support in 2024. We very much hope to see you in 2025!
