I would like to extend a big thank you to all who came along to the Newport Rising Chartist Lino Print Workshop which was held at The Place on Tuesday 29th October.

If you are interested in attending a Chartist Lino Print Workshop for adults, please contact the Newport Rising Hub for future dates.

For those of you inclined to the arts and making, come and join us on Wednesdays with Allison Mackenzie at Gallery 57 in Newport.

From 10:30 to 12:30 on Wednesdays "Enjoy Creating Art & Chatting" - is an ongoing, relaxing art class for adults - perfect for beginners and a great environment to gradually build your creative confidence and artistic skills.

Come along and join in one or several of these classes (£25 per lesson)

If you are interested in learning about Japan, a return of the varied programme of "Japanese Culture Classes & Workshops" is being planned for 2025. These classes take an informal and entertaining look at traditional and contemporary aspects of Japanese culture.

Please contact Allison or Gallery 57 if you are interested in attending these classes.

FINALLY, our next Art & Craft Market will be at Tredegar House on Saturday November 9. We very much hope to see you there!
